Before ordering

When should I order my invitations?

Ordering your wedding invitations is an important part of your wedding planning process, so let’s make it as stress-free as possible. I recommend you order your wedding stationery suite 4-5 months before you plan to post them out to your guests. This is more than enough time to design your dream wedding suite and allow for any changes as well as for it to be printed and assembled to the highest standard.

How long will the SEMI-BESPOKE order take?

Assuming that you provide me with the wording and design feedback within 1-3 days, the design process usually takes 4 to 10 weeks to complete (note confetti orders always take longer than twisting invitation orders).

Can I see a MOCKUP before I order?

Sorry no, I can’t offer physical or digital mockups of the designs before the first payment is completed. I put a lot of effort into designing a proof that meets your exact specifications.

How many invitations should I order?

I recommend that you order 1 invitation per household, with a few extras in case any get lost in the post, or you have last-minute additions to your guest list. Also, having a keepsake suite is always a lovely idea. It’s better to print everything upfront - if you need more printed at a later date, the cost will increase due to minimum quantity restrictions.

Do you offer day-of designs TO MATCH THE WEDDING SUITES?

Yes I do. They will be available to view soon in the semi-bespoke section and will include table plan, menus, place names and signage, giving you the perfect cohesive look for your day. Send me an email info@you-me-oui.com to enquire.

Design process - SEMI-BESPOKE

What can I personalise?

You have the chance to personalise wording and colours for all pieces in your suite, including invitations, detail cards, RSVP cards, and guest addressing envelopes.

Can I change the fonts?

In some cases yes, there are other font options to choose from, but I don’t provide alternate fonts for all of the suites as some of the designs don’t lend themselves to being altered. If you have your heart set on a certain font, you can always go the bespoke route to get the exact design you desire.

Can I change the layout?

Sorry due to space restrictions the layout can’t be changed. But I want you to love your stationery as much as I love designing it so i’m happy to discuss other options with you. However, please note that this is considered a bespoke order and will incur a design fee.

CAN I CHANGE THE colouRs?

Yes. I work with top-of-the-range coloured card, which comes in 55 glorious colours making endless colour combinations. It’s stamped with beautiful gleaming foil that also comes in a variety of shades. If you have selected a confetti design, you also get to choose up to 4 colours for your biodegradable confetti mix.

Can I make changes to my design?

Yes - during the design process, I offer 2 rounds of feedback for wording and colour at no additional cost. Any additional changes are considered a suite upgrade and will cost £100 per round.

Once you have given written approval to proceed to production, no further changes to the design can be made.

What’s included in a SUITE?

The petite 3 piece suite includes the invitation with envelope, details card and couples card. If you need a more extensive set, the grande 4 piece suite includes the invitation and envelope, details card, RSVP card with return addressed envelope and a couples card. You can also purchase the items separately to create a bespoke suite that works for you.

Will I see A design proof before it’s printed?

Of course. Your stationery won’t go to print until you’ve approved the design PDF. This way, you can be 100% that it will meet your expectations and be exactly what you had in mind.

What is the minimum order?

40 pieces.

I need more or LESS suites than I initially ordered

You can’t order less than the initial quantity quoted if the contract is signed. However, you can order more invitations in sets of 20.

SHIPPING

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we offer shipping within the UK and internationally. The shipping fee is based on weight and will be billed separately.

Do you offer guest addressing?

Yes. If you opt for this service, I will provide you with a document to fill out with your guests’ details, giving you time to do other things on your wedding to-do list.

COST

How does the payment work?

When you choose me, I require a 30% deposit to secure your order. Once we have started the design process and the designs have been approved, I require an additional 50% payment to begin printing. The remaining 20% payment will be due before your completed order is shipped.

Do you OFFER samples?

Yes, I offer samples for each semi-bespoke suite which includes the invitation, RSVP and details card £15 for twisting invitations £25 for confetti. This will show you how the invitation works and give you a feel for the quality of paper and finishes. To purchase click on the design you like in the semi-bespoke section and add the sample to your cart.

What’s the refund policy?

Sometimes plans change or you change your mind. If this happens my refund policy is as follows:

If the design process has not yet begun (even if you have provided your wording/colour details,) you are eligible for a 100% refund.

I will send an email letting you know i’m starting the design process. Once this email has been sent no refunds will be accepted due to the wedding stationery being made-to-order. This will all be clearly outlined in the contract.

What’s the price range for the SEMI-BESPOKE suites?

Couples who work with me usually spend between £750 — £5000.
